WELCOME TO ONLINE WORSHIP AT FIRST CHURCH!

Welcome to all who gather to worship online today! We hope you feel the warmth of God’s presence and welcome right where you’re at. If this if your first time joining us online, we are honored by your presence and hope to see you again soon! To stay informed, please subscribe to our weekly email.

Today's service was made using video from this week's live In-Person Outdoor Worship gathering at First Church's paved parking lot. We invite you to join us in person next Sunday at 6:30 AM for an Easter Sunrise Service or at 10:00 AM in the sanctuary to celebrate the Resurrection of the Lord.

ABOUT US

First, we’re not just friendly, we’re friends! Our primary belief is that everyone (no exceptions!) is created in the loving image of God, who is love itself.

Second, in everything we do, we strive to live our mission: By the power of Christ, we are blessed to be a blessing!

OPENING PRAYER AND THE LORD'S PRAYER

Almighty God, on this day your Son Jesus Christ entered the holy city of Jerusalem and was proclaimed King by those who spread their garments and palm branches along his way. Let those branches be for us signs of his victory, and grant that we who bear them in his name may ever hail him as our Lord and follow him in the way that leads to eternal life. In Christ’s name we are bold to pray:

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.
