Welcome to worship on this Third Sunday in Lent. We are grateful to gather together this morning and extend a special welcome to friends and visitors joining us. Thank you for being here as we continue our Lenten journey of reflection, prayer, and hope.
Today we are delighted to welcome to the pulpit the Reverend Julie Donohue Thompson, our new Transitional Pastor. We invite you to join us following worship in the Fellowship Hall for a Welcome Reception as we greet Pastor Julie and celebrate the beginning of this new season in the life of our church.
Men of the Church will gather this Tuesday, March 10, at 5:30 PM in the Fellowship Hall. Glen McGhee will lead the meeting in Rich’s absence. All men are welcome—whether church members or not—so come join us for dinner, fellowship, and good conversation. We’d love to have you come and try us out!
Presbyterian Women will gather this Wednesday at noon in the Fellowship Hall as we conclude the final lesson of our current Bible study. All women are warmly invited for this time of fellowship and sisterhood. A light lunch will be provided.
The Worship Committee will meet this Thursday at 9:30 AM in the Church Office Parlor.
Our March Fellowship Luncheon will be next Sunday, March 15. Ron Houser from the Bay County Audubon Society will present a program on attracting birds to your backyard. This is always a great Sunday to invite a friend!
Scholarships are available through the church for Dogwood Acres Summer Camp. For more information, please pick up a brochure in the Fellowship Hall.w members and welcome suggestions for guest speakers—please share ideas with Rich Walker or Glen McGhee.
